Access Control System Products

Isotec’s automated Safety Entrances® provide a high level of security by interlocking two or more programmed doors and allowing only one door to be opened at a time. These standards or configured site specific systems are available as complete units or as a components package.

Our automated Safety Entrances® provide superior perimeter security, and work well in remote or unmanned locations. A wide range of technologies can be integrated with our systems to provide the level of risk appropriate safety and security required for a variety of applications, including airports, courthouses, data centers, financial processing areas, and clean rooms.

The Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) output relays control the Safety Entrance® scenarios of operation. One cardinal rule; only one door per lane may be unlocked or opened at the same time. Unless in emergency override, the PLC will not unlock a door if the other door is open, or if a security detection sensor is activated.

Safety Entrances® can be combined with metal detectors, bio-metric ID devices, card readers, and tailgating detection sensors to prevent tailgating/piggy backing into or out of a facility. References are available upon request.
